Title: Worried that vagina width will not be enough for sexual intercourse after SRS...
Post by: Honey_08 on March 04, 2018, 07:50:14 AM
Hello!

I'm worried that my vagina width will not be enough for my boyfriend after i have undergoing SRS. I read that some people can use dilators of 38 mm after SRS, but i will need one of 45 mm or more....

Has anyone managed to dilate to 45 mm or more? And if so what kind of SRS technique did you choose?

Welcome to Susan's Place, Honey_08!  :)

I think the questions you need to ask yourself are "What if I don't get enough width? Do I still want to do the surgery? How do women with smaller vaginas cope?"

I say this because surgery comes with no guarantees and wildly variable results. You need to be able to accept yourself no matter what happens on the operating table. Your boyfriend could well lose his ability to maintain erections at some point, will you stop having sex?

Hugs, Devlyn

Thank you! I'm already certain that i will undergo SRS even if we cant have sexual intercourse, and i know that surgery comes with no guarantees and that its very individual what results you will get. I even have a planned date for the SRS. I'm just curious if anyone have managed to get to 45 mm in width, or if its just a "dream number" to get. Me and my boyfriend talked about this and we have other ways and solutions if the width should not be enough anyway :)

Yes its possible. My toy is this size and i dont even have to dilate before using it ( hurts a little at first). I even had partners with bigger than that. However like said above it depends on your available tissue, surgeon skills and if you did your healing dilatations correctly. Gl

Welcome to Susan's Place. Dr Meltzer's office can provide a #5 dilator which is the next step up from the 1.5 inch or 38 mm dilator. The standard set they provide only goes up to #4 however the fact they can provide a #5 indicates this issue is something they have considered in the past. You should discuss this with the surgeons you are considering as it might influence your choice of surgeon. I know there are surgeons who don't even provide the #4 equivalent and in that case, you would need to obtain one from another source.

Cis vaginas can be stretched to fit a fat penis in it (might hurt but it can )...So does she suppose to leave her boyfriend because she can't please him ? Sex is needed in relations , most of the time

I think what you're asking heavily relies on the tissue you have available, at least for a PI surgery. I am not very familiar with the colon lined GCS but would guess it's more elastic. However, as things settle down post op and you become more acclimated with your new part you'll be surprised what you can achieve. Skin is pretty elastic, and if you properly dilate, you'll probably be able to accommodate him with some time and patients.

If you have a small penis I would talk to your surgeon about skin graft options or look into colon sigmoid srs
