Hello world! My name is Brittany and after 40 or so years of being a little shy (ok, ok, A LOT shy), I think it's time we finally meet and get to know one another a whole lot better. I know we're not always going to see things the same way but if you'll just accept me for the beautifully imperfect person I am, I'll do my very best to help you become a place where EVERYONE can live harmoniously.
I'm super excited yet mildly terrified to finally begin my journey since this is one I've never been on before. Heck, I don't even know anyone who has! Thankfully, I have found the most wonderful place, Susan's, which is filled with brave souls and amazing people who are obviously as helpful and understanding as they are inspiring.
To each of these kindred spirits; thank you for the incredible help and knowledge you've already shared with me and for all of the future support I'm bound to need. Without your courage and willingness to share I couldn't have made it this far, and I know my journey has just begun. I am so very happy I will have each of you to share my story with and to guide me whenever I lose my way.

It is nice that you have signed up so you can share with others and involve yourself with some give and take with other members.

Just realized I never mentioned I'm in the Charleston, SC area and it doesn't look like a whole lot of local resources exist for us here. If anyone has ideas or suggestions, particularly about transitioning here, I'll be in your debt.
