FYI. Just a quick update, I've seen that the treatment restrictions placed on MyWebDoctorUK (GenderGP) for treating trans* patients have been lifted.

Hello Megan
I and several other members are with GenderGP. I am very happy with their all round service -admin, counselling, hormones, blood testing etc.
Briefly what restrictions have been removed please?
Thanking you
Pamela

I don't know all the details, but after a complaint was made (by one of the GICs I believe) an investigation was raised which stopped Dr Webberley from actively providing care/prescribing, so she was forced to find other doctors to temporarily partner up with to carry on her great work. This handicap has now been removed.

That's a relief, I've just started to get in contact with them.
That's very worrisome that a GIC forbade another doctor from treating transgender patients, especially when the waiting lists are so long at the GICs (2 or more years now I beieve?)

Had to go joint care with my GP but at least it means I don't pay for prescription (to old!!!)

What is GIC ? praytell....
My doctors were my therapist, my PCP, and for non related but she oversaw blood work and testing, my gastroenterologist.
My PCP was a doctor, and friendly to the cause. She tested and oversaw my HRT pretty much. I always do my due diligence, and took a very active part in this as well.
TY for posting this topic :)

Gender identity clinic I believe. It's where the UK folks go for care if they use the NHS.
I have to say when I saw GenderGP I initially imagined a boys vs girls motorcycle race.
