Hi ladies,
I wanted to ask for your advice on what I could do to make my back feel better. I've only been able to sleep on my back due to the catheter. I've tried ice and a heating pad, plus the meds I was percribed but nothing seems to work.
Please help 🙏🏽

Are you allowed or able to try a pillow under your legs or back to shift the area of pressure? X

That's what my roommate told me to do. Seems to be helping slightly. Thank you for taking the time out to respond. (:

I went through the same thing... yes a pillow can help with lower back support. Also try adjusting the motorized tilt on the bed, a slight change in tilt every hour or so can help.
I wasn't able to sleep on my side for a couple weeks. First time I was able to was such a luxury. You will get better each day. :)

Kendra - I was discharged from the hospital yesterday around 12 noon. So I'm not laying in that moving bed anymore. I had my surgery Wednesday and got out yesterday and I have to go back up to Raleigh next Friday to get the packing and catheter removed. (Which I am so excited about)
I can't wait to sleep on my side without having that mess hit my walls every time I move positions lol
Happy to hear it gets better 😉
