Title: Weekly HRT progress

It's been a week today since I started HRT. Starting quite low. I won't post dosage, because I don't want to encourage self medicating. Low doses of Spiro and Estradiol, ramping up over time, in 90 day steps according to my endocrinologist.
I have yet to figure out how to post a pic. I'll do that once I figure it out. Not much visibly noticeable at this point.
I feel noticeably calmer. More even and stable moods. I don't feel like I'm on the verge of anger or sorrow all the time anymore. It really is a very good improvement for me.
Physically, I have lost 4 lbs. Not sure if it's water weight, since Spiro makes you pee more. My muscles feel different, like they are a little tired, so I'm not sure if I'm losing a little muscle yet or not. I have noticed a few spots on my skin seem a little smoother and softer. Nothing radical, just a slight difference that I notice.

Congrats on starting HRT! I also started recently and felt the same calming affect. It also made me happy all the time, no mood swings or anything yet. For posting pictures I setup a Imgur account and use it. Its free. :)
Hugs,
Chelsea

Yeah, the happiness is pretty incredible! It's kind of subtle to me, I know I feel better but it must be more apparent to others. I had a coworker comment yesterday that I must be having a good week because he noticed I'm smiling a lot more than usual. I didn't realize I was. I guess I am and just didn't notice it. My wife also tells me I look a lot happier.

Here is my attempt at uploading a photo. I'm hoping to keep a weekly photo log of how things change over time.

Photo at a couple of days past 2 weeks. Still no obvious physical changes, which is to be expected at 2 weeks.

BlueJay,
+1 for you for posting your before photo.
You will not see much change weekly, but if you post a monthly photos or about 4 photos a year, we will all see a dramatic change.
Best wishes and you will get there, but be patient.

Yeah I think it will take a little more time before you see big changes. I'm almost 2 months on HRT and I can just now see minor changes happening. I take a picture of myself every week so I can look back later in transition. We will get there soon. :)
Hugs,
Chelsea

Yeah, that's my motivation for doing this. Not really to share so much with others but just to document my progress for my own records.

Week 3 photo.

Nothing really noticeable visibly, as expected. But my wife and I both noticed this week that the skin on my palms and fingers feels smoother and softer. Wife is happy with that, as she always has complained about how rough my hands are.

Four weeks!

Nothing much to see, at least not on a head shot. I am in Las Vegas this week for a week event and my coworkers, which only see me every few months, have all commented on how much weight I have lost. I haven't weighed myself since the first week or so of HRT, but I would guess I have lost around 15 lbs. Feeling very healthy physically and emotionally for the first time in decades.
So far I am very happy I decided to go ahead with HRT.

Week 5. Still nothing visibly noticeable besides the weight loss. I have noticed that my cheeks feel softer and smoother.

Week 6. Noticing softening and smoothing of skin on my shoulders and insides of upper arms. I have a nipple that is sore, not sure if that's related to HRT or just some random pain, but it's been about 4 days and it hasn't stopped. I think I can notice a very subtle difference in my face, but I don't know if anyone else would notice.

You need to put two different pics, one from before and one from after. This would allow us to better pinpoint a difference. ;)

Lasering the facial hair, will also make a dramatic change.
