Title: Dressing More Androgynously

Today I went to a crawfish boil at my alma mater and wore lavender tights with a flowy, knit tank top. I went to art school and there's a fair amount of gender variance there, so they are used to that sort of thing. A few friends of mine even complimented me in a somewhat knowing way and told me my outfit was cute. After that we stopped by the dog park. I didn't really talk to anyone there, but I sat feeling pretty with my girlfriend enjoying the fresh spring air. It was my first time tucking in public and the lavender are my favorite color. All in all a good day

Good for you and welcome to Susan's Place.
I admire your courage to be yourself in public. For me, I could not even dress androgynous in public until I was well into my transition. Today, I am post-op 2+years and dressing anyway I want is just second nature.
We all progress at our own pace.
