It's less than 24 hours until my GCS commences. I'm relaxing with my partner at a local B&B, riding the wave that's carrying me to this big event.
Any last day advice?

Relax and enjoy the rest of the ride. They have a good system there, and they will take care of you all the way through. Follow their regimen and you'll come out a new woman. :) ...and tell Florence I said HI! :)

Congrats! Are you at Chantal's? I remember what I felt like the day before! Taking the meds and wondering what it was going to be like at the hospital. Good news - all will be good. Doctors are super and care is great. Soon you will be in recovery and be looked after by a great team. I met eight other women there who shared the experience. Look forward to hearing from you in a few days. Hugs,Kelly.

Advice? Just relax and take it all in. Tomorrow will go by quickly and you'll wake up in recovery a new person. Congratulations and welcome to the club.

Head to Schwartz's and have an amazing sandwich! Fatty, not lean. Enjoy the moment. I hope to get my 2nd opinion soon and then my referral to Dr Brassard in December. I look forward to hearing about your experience.

Yes that is know fun. The day the nurse removes your catheter is a day to celebrate! You will then start your dilation schedule! I loved the nurses and the chef! If you could, I ask you to say hi from me. I don't know if they would remember me have been a year ago. Just say 'Hi from Kelly" April '17. Thanks. Hope all continues to go well for you. Hugs, Kelly.

I've had some issues with a leaking catheter, which makes life a little more uncomfortable and tiring, but otherwise progressing well.

It does happen. Mine got so bad that the nurse took it out a little early and I got on with things. Glad to hear that all else is OK! Hugs, Kelly

CONGRATULATIONS!
I had my surgery on April 9th 2018 and am almost 2 months post op.
I'm not doing to lie the first month was grueling!! But now that's past its smooth sailing from there!
Just make sure to keep extremely good care of your kitten and follow everything they advise you do.
P.S you have to keep it as dry as possible until its healed, i recommend getting thigh high socks so you can have her exposed without getting cold. Also strong toilet paper so it doesn't leave any flakes on her after peeing. (sounds silly but its true!)
Good luck!!
Anja
