After Dr Ivan in Guadalajara, failed Srs, back in 2015. I am ready to begin getting my botched problem fixed . This time I'm looking to do the surgery in the USA as long as the doctor accepts insurance . I think it might be easier to get the surgery covered since I have had Srs before and I've never been listed as male with my insurance .
So question
Does anyone know of a GOOD reputable doctor here in the US that
Does colon technique
Accepts insurance
Thanks

I'm from Mexico, what happened to you with that doctor? I'm looking for my SRS and if you know somebody I have to avoid I'd be grateful to you

Without going into details about it under this thread ,( only because I really want some good options to fix my vagina) you can view my past post under my profile to find my review on the doctor . It explains everything that happened

I think either Marci or McGinn stated that in terms of experience, Toby Meltzer is at the top of his field.

Dr Rachel Bluebond-Langner at NYU in New York City did my GCS last August and I am very happy with it. I know that she also accepts patients for revisions and is particularly good at it . . .

My original surgery was at University of Miami with Salgado it was a disaster. I checked with other doctors and no one would touch me. Went to Dr Bluebond and in 15 seconds she said she could fix me !!!. Have had two revisions with her one internal one external and now have some sensation and a vagina that is enter-able where before I had absolutely NOTHING ! I give her 10 stars, shes great, and has also operated on several of my friends with great results.

Hi, I do not know if Dr. McGinn does colon. Their number is 215-693-1199. They open 9:30 AM.
I had my original GCS with Dr. McGinn 11/16. The operation was different as I did not have penile skin to invert and my scrotum was small and had little vascular support. My procedure was finished in Dr. McGinn's office the next Monday due to am issue I had in the OR (my potassium level was very low). I had 3 weeks bed rest and 2 weeks with a catheter. I had a micro penis and very small genitals. My original GCS was challenging and I had challenged results.
May 4, 2018 I had a revision with Dr. McGinn. I have my vagina bottom finished, my urethra moved, clitoral hood redone, my vagina deepened, the material between my vagina and vaginal canal removed and the bottom of my vagina finished. The skin on my butt to the front of leg on both sides was cut and repositioned (free butt lift) for the skin used in the operation. Most importantly I have the large amount of scar tissue removed. It use to be so painful to dilate and now it is pain free. I am very happy with the results.
I had to pay up front for the original operation and was reimbursed by insurance. The revision surgery Dr. McGinn accepted insurance without me paying up front. All the revision codes were for intersexed procedures.

+1 for Dr Rachael Bluebond-Langner. She did my GCS 6 months ago in November 2017 and I'm extremely happy with the results. I know of several revisions she has done to correct mess-ups of other surgeons and every one of them had substantial improvement compared to what they had before.
She does NOT use the colon technique but can repair one and she has added peritoneum tissue to add depth similar to Dr Ting just as it's used to help cis women with vaginal reconstruction.

Do you know if skin grafts provide more sensitivity vs colon ? Thanks so much
