Title: Hrt = spots
Post by: MarieLouise1982 on May 09, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
Hey all

So I've been on hrt now for just over a week and I've noticed my face is slowly coming out in lots of little white head spots. Also some parts of my face , the skin looks slightly raised and a little darker in colour :( I'm hoping not acne. Is this normal and will it go away ? Should it be a concern to get in touch with the GP about it ?

Thanks all

Marie xx

After only a week? No it's not really typical.
Has anything else in your life changed in the past week?
You might want to mention it to your doctor.

Your skin oil will reduce on HRT, and when you come off of it the oil is back in a week. Your skin is adjusting to the new and improved, less greasy you.  :)

Thanks

Do you know if there's any products I could maybe use to reduce them ? As it's making the dysphoria worse looking in the mirror :-(
