I think it's time to buy a binder.
I am not keen on feeling anything on my chest, and therefore squicked out about binding. Didn't need bras until almost 30 and now just wear sportsbras, I don't like the reminder anything is there and wish I could just wave a wand and make it disappear. BUT. I think I have to bite the bullet and start HRT before I can get top surgery... so...
Does anyone have ANY advice about binders? Or good websites to find them? Learn more about them?
Any and all information would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Look at the FTM Gear section where this is posted (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,324.0.html) then enter your search term in the search box located in the upper right hand corner of the page. You should get 100s of hits on the term binder. You can then search brand names that you might be interested it. If you would like to use the advanced search, put the cursor in the search box but leave it blank and hit enter. You will then be able to fine tune the search.

I 100% recommend Gc2b binders. Side note about their binders. The different colors stretch differently. The white basically has no give, the black would stretch way to much 2 hours after a wash, and lastly the grey is nice if you between sizes because it stretches a little bit. If you are between sizes I personally would go to the bigger size. I am a bigger guy and found the full length ones were less annoying that the half (tri-top?) binders because they would did in less and would stay in place longer. Finally, if your binder is not binding as well as it use to throw it into the dryer on med-high heat.

I agree with the different colours. I also noticed that I have the half length with a black cotton inside, and ones that have the white cotton layer inside.
The black cotton inside ones are tighter than the white coloured ones. And no they do not show that on the website...
