oh it can be fantastic...
(mental pain hurts more. Okay I've only ever been cut or had the skin wore off or mumps or dysentery or whatever - but if you're in good spirits even that can be endured. Mental pain is inescapable.)

Yes, mental anguish can be just as intense and difficult to deal with, but I'd also say that they're different in some ways.

Yes, mental pain and suffering can be as great as physical pain and suffering...actually it can be stronger! Take depression for example, it has a profound affect on your physical health! So...

I think that mental pain is much greater if I put both of them into a scale

Mental pain is greater.
It can bring on physical suffering.
I had them both. My body did not heal until I conquered the mental pain.
I honestly believe that if you shove a spear into my chest, I won't like it, but it won't bother me much. However, if you break my heart, I'm as good as gone.
So please,
don't go breakin' my heart.

If not monitered then mental pain can bring on physical pain but to answer your question YES. Mental pain can be worse than the physical pain.
I would rather have a 5 minute headache than a 2 year heartbreak from a break up.
