Hi,
Is it normal to have 2 NHS numbers?

Also was talking therapy a pre-requisite for those who have undergone SRS? I'm currently being referred to Primary Care Plus, but keep getting delayed?
First post, apologies if I did something wrong.

Apparently if you change gender marker they have to allocate a new one.

Hello anastasialea, welcome to Susan's!
GCS/SRS requirements depend on which country you are in and whether insurance is involved. I am not personally familiar with the NHS in the UK.
Since this was your first post I'll add information to help with navigation and site guidelines.
When you get a chance, it would be great if you can introduce yourself in the Introductions Forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html).
Great to see you here, and best wishes on your path to SRS.
Kendra

Yes, talk therapy is a required part of the process if you choose to work via the NHS. Most reputable surgeons will require you to supply a letter (or 2) from a senior level mental health professional.
