Susan's Place Transgender Resources

I'd like to get some input on how feminine or passable I could get my face to look. I don't want to post my picture publicly, but I'll send a couple via PM to anyone who asks. (I realize there's still risk involve in being outed this way, but I don't really care that much at this point, I just don't want to make it super easy.)

Here's my initial thoughts:

Pros:
+My face is pretty round, and not particularly defined in a masculine way, I don't think.
+I don't really have a visible Adam's apple most of the time.
+My eyelashes are very long.
+You can't really tell because it's so short, but my hair is very thick and has a lot of volume.

Cons:
-My neck is pretty thick.
-My chin isn't huge, but it's not small, either.
-My eyebrows are pretty wild, but that's easy to fix.
-I'm not really sure about my eyes. I'd like to have bigger, rounder eyes, but not all women have big eyes anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter.


Feel free to agree or disagree with any of these, I'd like some honest input.

I'll put this to you softly. It isn't going to matter how feminine you look. Voice and movements play a much bigger part. I've been having a streak of fails lately, and I look pretty damn good.

Be yourself, be free. It's better than living in a prison you built yourself.

This is great advice! I am never going to be a model, but I make an effort and am happy just being me, finally.

A description is difficult to base an assessment on so pictures would be helpful (if you do decide to post pictures you will get the best assessment if you post them taken from a few different angles (full face from front, head turned 3/4 right and left side, and profile right and left side) and the pictures should be unfiltered in good lighting; and without smiling wide with teeth showing(smiling like this in a photo is misleading, because it feminizes the face by making the cheeks look fuller, shortens the distance between the base of the nose and upper lip, and narrows the chin and jaw, which is great, but you can't walk around like that 24/7, so a picture taken with a normal resting face is the most accurate portrayal of how someone actually looks).

Well, I don't want to put pictures straight on the forum just yet, but thanks to you all anyway. The face probably isn't super-important, like Devlyn said.

I don't know your sense of humor, but I hope you are being sarcastic😀

Adding to what has already been said about the face shape not being overly important, makeup in the right places will hide a multitude of imperfections, just like it does for CIS women, the only difference is technique. I mean without makeup I definitely look male, a bit of foundation, concealer, and high lights I look almost cute. 😂
