Title: Weird bleeding during dilation

So as of today, I am 12 days post. I have been noticing while dilating some blood accumulating above the vaginal opening and blow the urethra.
Last night, I noticed the blood was gone. However, as I moved to the larger size, and started to apply the usual amount of pressure, the pool of blood returned. This being all new is fascinating and nerve racking
Anyone experience anything similar or have heard of the such?
Thanks.

I noticed a small amount of blood each time I increased dilator size. Started with #1, currently #4 at four months post-op. I saw more blood during early healing (couple weeks post-op) and very little after a couple months.

I can also confirm this happens especially in the beginning and when you go up a size the first time or two. There is a lot of healing that is going on at 12 days and I had this type of bleeding the first 3 weeks or so but not all the time. I'm surprised you are already up a size unless you were told to start on the 2nd size one like I was.

i was told to start at blue and then go to green. It seems the more pressure that is applied (not a LOT of pressure but the usual) the pooling of blood grows. This morning I noticed it starting while dilating with the blue and the blood amount grew as I continued with the green.

Started dilating last Wednesday. It seems to be happening more and more as the days go on. I guess this is normal. Who knew.

That makes sense. I was told when going up a size. Insert the smaller one for 5 min then switch to the next size one. Also, you can never use too much lube. Personally, I like Surgilube Lubricating Jelly and Amazon has the best price for it with 4 tubes for $18.36.
