Title: I still have a lot of swelling 2 months post-op ftm?
Post by: wrymze on May 22, 2018, 09:14:36 PM
Hi, my name is Nick and I am 16 years old. I had double incision top surgery on April 1st, and ever since I have had a pretty large amount of swelling. The swelling is towards my sternum on both sides, and is able to push and squish down if that makes sense. I have been wearing a spanx-type tank top for my compression, and I do wear silicone sheets recommended by my surgeon. It just sucks because it still looks like I have something there, and it feels uncomfortable too. Any advice or thoughts? Thank you!

What has your surgeon told you about the swelling?

Here is the reply to mm's question

"
My surgeon told me that there is an abnormal amount of swelling still, but to just wait until around 6 months to see if its still bad. She said she might have to do a revision though if it is still bad. "
