Title: question about transgender style underwear
Post by: Amaki on May 31, 2018, 12:18:27 AM
ok so Ive been looking around and im not sure if anyone has tried or even heard about them. They do have a decent amount for Trans men Ive seen, but there is also some for trans women. Now my question as someone whos still trying to break their mold and ease into things is for those that have used them how well do they work, is it a better (I know its safer) way than taping (the idea of taping seems rough). I know the choices for underwear aren't great but there are options at lease.

Isn't there something like gaff inspired undies?  I know I've seen CD sites also that have panties designed for that 'something extra' down there.  IDK I always wear what I wear now :)  Just mostly heard it from 2nd hand sources, pretty sure lots of folks here would know.

I think I've heard of such things, but I've never tried them.  I just use regular women's underwear.  When I need an extra tuck, I use firm control briefs.

ok, it was more or less me searching random subjects before bad and I came across it just wondering if anyone had some first hand knowledge. I might have to check into them once I get some extra money to see if they are at lease comfortable lol

My favorite pair of underwear with regards to tucking are the Hanes Bikini panties that you get at Target: https://www.target.com/p/hanes-174-women-s-comfortsoft-174-lace-waistband-cotton-bikini-et42lc-3-pack/-/A-14189375?preselect=14187294#lnk=sametab (https://www.target.com/p/hanes-174-women-s-comfortsoft-174-lace-waistband-cotton-bikini-et42lc-3-pack/-/A-14189375?preselect=14187294#lnk=sametab)

I recommend wearing two pairs to get extra smoothness and make sure to buy them one size smaller than your original size.

Hey!

Personally I used my bubbles passed underwear to give me a bit of curve then i would wear 2-3 tight gaffs to give some extra support and hold the girls in place it was moderately comfortable until I had to sit down and the girls shifted from the back to the front lool tmi.

Tape scared me way to much, especially being on my feet all day.

Hugs
Anja

TBH, this is one issue I've never really understood. I just wear Calvin klien boy shorts and I've never had an issue with bulging or whatever. They also ride nice and high on my hips and make my butt look 👌

I mostly ask out of curiosity, I still present as a man, and havent fully opened up to everyone in my life yet so Ive mostly just been looking around to see ways to ease out (lol) But if nothing happens before I have an appointment with my psychiatrist and im not sure what to expect.

Anyway that was a bit off topic, but yeah the idea of tape does scare me and where I personally intend to go all the way someday, that doesnt mean it can actually happen so Im just looking around to see what people use other than tape.

I usually use one pair of panty to tuck my private part. Sometimes two. In the future I am looking to get a orchiectomy so I can worry less about tucking down there. I never use tape before though. I can imagine that it is a nuisance to take out all the tape then go use a public restroom. The idea about using two panties seem better to me.

After you take out the tape you would probably need more if you want to re tuck in a public bathroom.

Or you can just wait to go back home to use the bathroom and avoid the hassle of tucking in a public bathroom. I can't wait until I can afford SRS and not deal with tucking.

I am overweight currently... My BMI is 35-36 and weight is 232lbs. I have lost about 52lbs and so I have a lot of loose skin, even down in that area.

Plus during 1st puberty, I did not produce a lot of Testosterone, but rather I had higher than normal levels of Estro. So I never really developed a lot of masculine features... Even my voice baseline frequency is female (~240-260Hz, peak frequency is 360-400Hz w/o falsetto)

As such, I dont need to do much for tucking. But my preference for panties is Torrid. They have some double lace layered panties have extra strength in the front to help smooth out the bulge. (Light Pink Microfiber Lace High Waist Panty (https://www.torrid.com/product/light-pink-microfiber-lace-high-waist-panty/11104866.html?cgid=intimates-panties))

But depending on the pants/shorts I wear, I dont need to even worry about a bulge. When that is the case, I like to wear these types from Torrid as the elastic material allows for more room for my bulge. (Microfiber Mesh Back Hipster Panty (https://www.torrid.com/product/microfiber-mesh-back-hipster-panty/11018493.html))

From what I've heard panties or anything tight to hold you up will work. I've been considering wearing tights with a shirt-skirt. I've also heard biker shorts work too since they have padding to hide anything you may miss  ::)

I prefer the same ones for little girls, as I can buy 12 instead of just 3. https://www.target.com/p/hanes-red-label-girls-12pk-classic-briefs/-/A-51326915?preselect=51256817#lnk=sametab

A size 10 or 12 is enough for me for tucking.

Usually I wear bikini bottoms everyday like this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016-Sexy-Metal-Ring-Design-Push-Up-Bandeau-Bikini-Set-Strapless-Steel-Support-Padded-Women-Swimsuit/32630969517.html

This was a good topic, all these seem so much safer than type and overly tucking

and yeah hardlife once Im ready to start I plan to have my doctor give me a full make up and see if they think a orchiectomy is absolutely necessary but regardless it's in the stars weather its earlier or later will depend on what my charts say

Check out Leolines on etsy, I stumbled across a review for them on youtube and ordered a few pairs. I've had them awhile now, and they really do a great job. You can tuck in them but if you don't want to they do a super job of smashing every thing down nice and flat anyway. They also do swim suits and bikini bottoms.

A bit pricey but seems like a good find, thank you I'll have to order around and see where I feel the most comfortable
