Title: Premarin Vagina Cream
Post by: BelindaA on June 06, 2018, 03:55:25 AM
Hi Gals!

My first post. Be gentle please.. ☺️

I have been a long term cross dresser and a true tg at heart.

Since the beginning of the year, I finally bought myself the first dildo and that's the first anal play I had. But that was a painful experience. I was looking for lube and came across vagina cream. I hence bought them and found it just fine if the "job" and the fact that it is a estrogen based cream give me that extra kick...

Almost 5 months in... I find lately I am having a hard time to get an erection and my ejeculation is like watery.. and I start to get worried since last week I tried numorous time but can't really maintain an half erection to achieve a orgasam. Other than that I don't realised much of a changes in my body other than I do feel my nipples are hard and sensitive all time.. plus I get a little emotional at time. That's all.

I read, the vaginal cream are suppose to be NON effective for tg.

Kinda worried.

Not consulted a doc yet cause I am not really to go full time tg.

Really appreciate all your kind feedbacks.

Love,
Belinda

Hi Belinda,

Welcome to the Forum.

I would very strongly advise not to use such creams and potions. I would stop using them straight away.

Modern bioidentical hormonal reassignment under medical supervision and with the help of a good therapist is the way to go.

Premarin Vaginal Cream is very effective in restoring Estrogen blood levels when used as directed. Since you are using this as a anal lubricant, you will still get some absorption of Estrogens into your blood system. Estrogen blood levels have a tendency to decrease your own Testosterone production.

The increase in Estrogens are responsible for your decreased libido and thin ejaculate.  This is a well known side effect of Estrogens and if you stop using the Premarin Vaginal Cream your Testosterone production should return to normal.

One positive note from your experience is that you now know what a more female libido is like. If full transition is in your future, you can judge whether the loss of libido is acceptable in order to live as female.

If you need an anal lubricant, I suggest KY Jelly or even petroleum jelly.

Its not that it won't work, but its not safe or effective as modern forms of HRT. You definitely should not use it.

Actually no one should be using it, but when you have a billion dollar business what corporation wants to give that up for the greater good.

Premarin contains horse estrogens, not human estrogens. Its named Premarin because its made from pregnant mare urine.

Premarin is still approved for use in the US.

As with all medications, you must compare the risks and benefits to see if they are acceptable.

Years ago, Premarin was all we had. We now have better, safer choices for HRT.

I found Premarin from quarter horses improved my running time on the track.

Just kidding... my endocrinologist prescribed an estradiol patch and that's all I have ever used.  In many countries this type of prescription is routinely covered by health insurance after talking things over with a gender therapist.
