Title: Injections (estradiol): observations
Post by: KayXo on June 06, 2018, 01:06:57 PM
I notice that if I am on just IM EV injections, no progesterone, my whole body "shrinks", I don't retain water to the same degree. Very noticeable in my fingers where they become much thinner.  Also, I'm going to the bathroom more often.
Others noticing similar symptoms on just injections? I was under the impression estradiol increased water retention and bloating but the exact opposite seems to occur.

I don't notice any issues with pills but I believe that progesterone might result in water retention.  Pregnant women often have difficulties with swelling and swelling is an issue a few days before a women has her period when progesterone would be near it's peak. I don't know if estrone is an issue however with my relatively high estrone levels, I don't have swelling.
