Hello Kris here,
Im a 24 transgender male to female, pre-op currently going through the process of assesments and stuff.
Things i like (apart from princeses and pink) are gaming on my pc, watching tv/movies.
Im a very sweet down to earth girl once you get to know me (and stick around long enough).
Any questions feel free to either comment or pm me :)
P.s will update my main profile :)

Heya Kris, nice to meet you!
Welcome to Susans! The ladies on here are lovely, very knowledgable about stuff, and also quite supportive/helpful! I do hope you'll engage with this wonderful community more in the future! <3
I'd like to hear more specifically about your hobbies sometime(maybe in other threads, there are LITERALLY threads for every occasion or reason lol) I, myself, am a game designer. So I love gaming, I'm trying to reconnect with a let's play channel, too, and I'm currently working on an indie game for a very, very niche audience lol but I'm very passionate about the project!
Oops!
Anyway, how long have you been questioning if I'm at liberty to ask, and what sort of assessments have you conducted? I'm actually fairly new to everything(still in my first 3 months of transition; no HRT yet), so while I might not have the greatest knowledge to help you, I will always support you! *hugs*
Much love,
Eryn

Hi Eryn,
Thank you for the Welcome <3
I have known i was a girl since i was 10 years old and when i turned 21 i knew it was time to start the long journey, as far as the assessments go ive only have the initial 2 then my next one is in October/November time. Hopefully to talk about HRT.
I started my own YT channel for gaming and hoping to pick it up again soon, mainly minecraft but open to other games, minus mmo(i.e 100v100 or WoW etc)
TV/Movies, mainly marvel/dc, Emmerdale, anime, animation(i.e Pixar)
Kisses-K

I'm very glad you're getting to start this journey at your age! I know a lot of girls have known most of their lives, and you are no different. I'm the outliner here, I didn't even realize(for some reason) that I could possibly be transgender until Easter this year! So, I'm sure even you know way more than I do, lol
That's really cool that you have your own Youtube channel! I am totally into anime(but have fallen out of watching it for several years now; 2 jobs and a relationship will do that lol)
When you update your profile, be sure to post any urls and stuff and those little icons appear under your name. I'm pretty active(I think?) on Twitter, and I've found lots of great transgirls on there, too!
I was raised into Marvel by my eldest sibling, they had thousands of comics; and my wife is big into Marvel, too. I am not so much into DC, aside from Batman - I just never really got into DC as much.
I guess I didn't realize there are official 'assessments' lol I was assuming it was like your own trial-and-error stuff you've done.
I guess, similar to transition for some, I didn't 'work' towards being a game designer for most of my life, and I do regret that, if I can regret anything. I went to a gaming conference in the state I live at right now, and saw 2 girls(1 was like 6, and the other 11) who started up a card game company with their father's help. And, you know, I think it's important to understand you don't have to wait for things.(also reminds me of a quote from Eureka Seven)
I was desperately trying to find the Japanese, but here's the English translation:
"Don't beg for things. Do it yourself, or else you won't get anything."
That isn't to say you can't have support and help throughout this process, but ultimately every step you want to take, you have to actually take yourself. And there's plenty you can do to help yourself even before things like HRT and GRS! And I encourage you do so, if you were just 'waiting' for a therapist to say what you can and can't do. After all, there's alot(as I've recently learned!) to being a woman, and if you're not familiar with it, each little thing will take time to pickup, learn, and master.
Anyway, have a great day, love!
