Title: mass health care plus
Post by: sfbarbie on June 08, 2018, 01:45:27 PM
Hi all,
I know I have asked similar questions before but was hoping one of you gals had some more insight. I will be the first to admit I have a hard time understanding/navigating insurance related issues.

I qualified for masshealth careplus - does anyone know if it covers SRS? Sadie suggested what plan she had/liked, but I am having a hard time finding out what is covered under that umbrella. I didn't qualify for regular masshealth the guy said because I had no dependents and because I didn't have cancer or anything like that. He said though that it covered most the same as regular except like long term care/stays.

ANY guidance would be much appreciated!!! xo

Hi, I'm in Weymouth. All providers in Massachusetts are required to cover transgender care. Fenway Health is a godsend. Their facilitators will set up all your appointments, paperwork, etc. Get in touch with them.
