Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hi there, I'm Emmalyn (but I don't know, that might change). I am 41 AMAB, married with a young daughter and pre everything accept coming out to myself, wife and a few friends. I have been intimidated about opening an account here. ->-bleeped-<- is one thing, this place makes it feel more real though, and that's exciting.

I still have doubts but have come to the conclusion that I am a transgender person, either TransFemme or a Transgender Woman. I am still trying to figure the labels out, like which one fits me. I plan on starting HRT, just waiting for the doctor to set up an appointment.

I have major doubts sometimes, especially after I come out to someone new.

I know how you feel. I went through a similar scenario a couple of years ago. Like you I made a decision to start HRT. Glad I did. I have learned a lot as a result. I believe the uncertainty can only be undone through trial & experience .

  Hello Emmalyn,   I see that this is your very first posting and you have just become a member of Susan's Place please allow me to give you my Official Welcome.

I am glad that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members here on your first posting and thread.

I am thinking that you may lots of questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.
