Hi!
My friend is new to HRT (started yesterday) MTF and is having bruises show up on her arms. spiro and estradiol. I didn't have this issue and have the same dosage (I took her to the doc I use for the past 3 years of hrt) any ideas? Any danger of blood clots?

It's not impossible that she always used to get bruises but that they are more noticeable now due to thinner skin.
She should talk to her doctor.
She should talk to her doctor.

I don't think thinner skin will happen in one day, it probably will happen eventually, but not in one day. I did experience softer skin soon after starting, but that may have been skewed by the changes in my sense of touch. So I guess it is possible.
And yes a talk with her doctor would be in order.

Yeah I don't see thinning skin happening that fast. She said she is getting normal muscle pains and throughout but had a couple bruises show up and doesn't remember bumping into anything. Thinking maybe it's tissue breaking down? I know progesterone can do that.
