Good morning all, wanted to say Hi. I have started counseling with my MD for gender non conforming issues. He thinks Susan's is a good resource for advice. Took many years for me to say " I think I have some gender issues" to my GP. but it was really good to open up. I am not sure where I fit but have always felt I was different from other guys physically and mentally. Been to 3 group sessions and it is helping me a lot with anxiety and my compulsive behavior. Even finding out who I am not is great. I no longer feel the need to act or rush on a impulse but feel I will be able to search and try things that make sense with my MD who is a gender specialist. The greatest thing is it is all above board and no hidden agenda for me or them. Hope to make some good friends and get some good advice here. Thanks ;)

Ah, the 'ol "I think I have some gender issues" starter for ten, I remember it well!
Welcome 😊. Your MD was right ofc, this a great place for you to learn more about our community and yourself. It sounds like you're taking the right and sensible steps, so good luck and happy exploring.
Hugs, Megan.

"If you go out looking for friends, you are going to find they are very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you'll find them everywhere." Jessica I love the quote. Life is all about relationships.
