I want you all to work very hard on being less confrontational and brusque with how you respond to people on these forums.
Guidelines
Things to think about when composing, and before making a post.
I can't tell you how many times I have written responses and then not posted it, or rewritten it; because I realize I violated one of those principles during my review before posting it, or just that it may end up being overly confrontational.
You all should be doing the same.
QuoteDefinition of brusque
1: markedly short and abrupt
a brusque reply
2: blunt in manner or speech often to the point of ungracious harshness
They were brusque with the customers
Guidelines
Things to think about when composing, and before making a post.
- Be civil even when you don't feel polite.
- Think about how others may read or misread what you wrote before posting it, clarifying it if necessary so that there is less likelihood of misunderstandings.
- Consider how it might make others feel.
- Don't intentionally offend people whenever possible.
- Don't be passively aggressive.

You all should be doing the same.

Speaking of Netiquette, can we crack down on ALL CAPS THREAD TITLES?
Hugs, Devlyn
