Title: HRT Fail

I feel a little ridiculous. I know from the first time I transitioned what the Estradiol patch should look like. Open the foil packet, take out the patch, peel off the clear covering, and apply. However, when I opened my first foil packet two weeks ago, there was no separate patch inside. What I saw instead was something that looked like a patch attached to the foil envelope. For the first two weeks, I only attached the foil packet to my skin. I only realized today, when I opened my third pouch, that there really was a separate patch inside. There really wasn't one in my first envelope, and I had discarded what looked like a failed covering from the second pouch from last week.
this week, though, I noticed the lettering on the clear insert, which stated it was the real patch. Here I was hopeful that I was only a few weeks away from the "tingling" when I'm really on Day One again. Now, I was able to find the discarded patch from last week in the garbage, and I've attached this second one also in hopes of catching up.
Another day in paradise.

That sucks. Throwing it away sounds like something that I would do.
I don't know if I would put the second patch on. More E doesn't mean more changes. Having a spare isn't a bad idea.
