Title: 2 months on estrogen
Post by: Arianna Valentine on July 24, 2018, 05:55:27 PM
Okay so I know two months isn't really a long time I know there can be some formation of breast butt hips that kind of thing so I was walking through the grocery store and I noticed I actually felt jiggling I guess is the word that I want to say I don't know it was if it was from my chest or my stomach but it felt great. And my freaking emotions are just all over the place even the most random thing can either make me happy sad cry Laugh Smile just all sorts of emotions and it is a wonderful trip

Estrogen is going to start affecting you the minute you start taking it. Only your body will determine how and what happens. Mood changes , changes in thoughts and taste. Differences in the way you smell and how you smell everyday things. Of course there will be body changes. Extra fat under the skin making your sense of touch different. Oh and bacon splatter hurts more lol.
The girls are going to react ( sometimes surprisingly) as well as your weight. Hips and butt and love handles are all going to start changing, and again only your body will know how and when.
You will laugh and cry just because and you will love both.  You are going to start understanding things you didn't before and you are going to think about things in such a different way to what your use too.
This may or may not be you. This is my experiance so far
Either way you will love your journey and do it your way.

Thank you so much for the information as far as taste and smell goes it has changed but I also quit smoking like a couple weeks before I started estrogen so I'm trying to getting a double dose of the taste and smell differences

@Arianna Valentine

As has been stated over and over here on the Forums... and by me in many of my comments on various posts, HRT will work uniquely in your unique body.
What you read about other transtioning members experiences with HRT most likely will not be your own experiences.
Some will experience more significant changes more quickly and then some will experience less significant changes more slowly....   it is all up to your genes and how your body reacts to the HRT.   Your doctor will be looking at your frequent blood test results to determine if any alterations in the HRT regimen are needed.
You have probably already heard here on the forums regarding HRT and how it may work for various individuals  is "YMMV"  meaning that Your Mileage May Vary.
PATIENCE is absolutely required, usually not much happens very quickly with HRT, but changes will happen.  Do some reading of other transitioners posts and look many of the posted HRT timelines and the before and after pictures. ....  they can give you a rough idea of what you MIGHT expect.

Hang on for an amazing ride.
We are here to rejoice with you in the good times and to support you in the not so good times.
One more time.... PATIENCE is required.   The attitude of many people today is "I want it all and I want it now" ... that will not apply to HRT.

Hugs and well wishes
... we will be looking for your updates as you feel free to post them.

The 2 months will be 2 years in a flash and you will be amazed at everything that has changed in that time!  Everything is so new at first and a lot of us get micro focused until relaxing into a place where we just let it happen.  At that point, you might lose sight of some of the subtleties, but you will likely make up for that with bigger revelations.

For me, I was really boob focused at the restart.  For the first six months or so, I was nervous they would not grow...and then I became used to a very different overall way that I was experiencing my world.  I lost focus of my chest and then I hit a year and gained that focus back...WHOA, they are really B's now!

Enjoy every moment, it is truly an E ticket ride!

Totally!  I think we feel it before we can see it, but likely those jiggly changes will be openly visible to others long before.  Watched pot and boiling, being what it is.  It makes my heart happy to be allowed to share in your transition!  Enjoy it Sister!

Awesome news. Every week you will notice something different. For me the first 2 years I had a difficult time with my emotions and it took time to get use to them. I am 5 years on HRT and sometimes I get emotional when I least expect it. Movies and the past get me every time. Sometimes commercials can get my emotions going. Talking with a friend and sometimes I get emotional when they confide something serious or if there is a death of a pet.

Enjoy the ride and you may want to keep track of the changes over time.

As many have said Congratulations Arianna!  Welcome to your new life and world.
Everything may catch you by surprise, sneaking up on you.
Or it may be parsed out with boob growth spurts that hurt and itch and swell and ache and did I say itch?
Or you may have genes that say meh to it all.  Ymmv!

Hugs and smiles, Jessica

Hello Arianna

Congratulations on 2 months HRT. If the jiggling was from your chest, then it could be the start of breast buds and if not, you will soon experience the feeling of them and of growing pains in the boobs area generally.

You may also have "laughing fits" at only minor points of amusement like me but the main emotion you should experience is a sense of being right, a sense of peace.

I am sure Tatiana has told you (briefly) about me as she has told me (briefly) about you.

I wish you continued happiness on your HRT journey.

Hello again Tatiana

Hope you are also enjoying the benefits of HRT. What's this about snorting? Is this daytime or nighttime or both?

Hugs to you both

Pamela

Hello again Kaitylynn

That is interesting for me as I am approaching 6 months HRT. For me the 2 main physical changes are/will be boob growth and decrease of Body Hair. I am sure you know just how much I envy your real Bs but I know I must wait another 12 months probably.

Wishing you further happiness.

Hugs

Pamela

Congratulations on two months on HRT, Arianna!

The boobs take their time.  I am at a year and a half on HRT, and I am only an A cup.  But they are real and they are mine, so I'm happy.

Just wait until you look in the mirror one day and realize that your lips or your eyes look different.  That's a "wow" moment to enjoy!

So I'm curious this might be TMI but as anybody when you're going to pee that you get tingles and both of your fingers like in the fingertips like tickling tingling?

Very interesting symptom... I have never heard of that... if you don't get any answers here that is certainly a question that you would want to pose to your doctor...  perhaps a side-effect that your body has on HRT??

So I know I posted this last month so I am going to give an updated post well I woke up last night in the middle of the night and my nipples really hurt I was happy about this I was not happy about this then I was trying on some panties and a bra and looking in the mirror and turn sideways to see if anything was there and my butt has actually gotten slightly bigger enough to where I might have to buy one size up and pants so I am very happy about that

Thats the interesting part of hrt. I have completely lost my butt. It has gone flat as a board to the extent even my wife commented about it. As for finger tip all i notice is they are so so sensitive almost to the annoying point if rubbed very lightly

This is a wonderful report....  usually cameras and mirrors are not our friends...
but in this case you really have something to celebrate.   I saw the "junk in the trunk" photo that you previously posted.... more great news.

Thank you for your good news report.

Okay so next new update honestly lost track about how long I've been on estrogen breast pain today which is good really tender definitely something I'm happy but not so happy about so haven't noticed any change in libido in fact I can't say it's increased compared to what it was it has maybe slightly decreased again if there is anything about this that don't make any sense as far as the typing goes I used talk to text and Google doesn't always understand or my cell phone doesn't or whatever doesn't did gain more weight I think I'm up to 165 now i was around 155 and I showed my boyfriend before pictures for when he thinks I looked good as a guy as well don't know if that's a compliment or not I guess...  he thinks I look beautiful as a woman too so yay and I showed him a picture of my butt before and he's seen it now obviously and he told me my butt has increased in size it has not rounded out but there is definitely a cheek size increase as well as hips
