Title: New years resolutions, anyone?
Post by: jonjon on January 01, 2008, 08:19:07 AM
I think i only have one for now, which is:

see a dentist

I would put: Start eating healthily on my list... but i think having chocolate cake for breakfast new years day is kinda breaking that one before it's already begun lol

Probably also to make this my first best year for passing without T and to make sure all family members are informed of my situation.

with all the changes that are happening and will be happening in my life.
I thought that keeping daily journal and actually writing in it would be good.

To be more outgoing and comfortable with others NOT being comfortable with me.

Also, to actually stick to this raw vegan thing... (but moooooooom, I want a veggie-burger!!!)

Duh, one of the more important ones! And I forgot... started my year-and-a-day on the 24th of December, so the resolution is to stick to that.

I'm seeing a dentist tomorrow on the 2nd. :P I haven't seen one in 10 years! I figured I should go.

I'm going to stop smoking, too, before surgery.

I live pretty healthy other wise, which is good.

This year is going to be the year of my SRS, which is awesome!

My other goal is to take some courses and work in something other than retail, which pays more. I also want to pay down some of my debt. It sux being $25k in the hole.

So, yeah, it's going to be a busy year for me.

resolution #1:  in november, during my birthday, i decided to stop fighting myself and accept myself for who i am. (birthday=real new year )

resolution #2: i wanted to give my self a couple of months to adjust.... during that time i decided that i had to come out to the people that i am closest to. so  far i have told 2 of the three. first was my best friend since the 4th grade(27 years) on dec. 27. second was my brother.... last night.  needless to say they werent too surprised. my best friend was a little bummed because he felt that i had held in so much pain for so long and he wanted me to know that he was always there for me.( :embarrassed:)  my brother already knew about me.( its hard to keep things from close family ::) ) he said that he just wanted me to be happy. both conversations were pretty long and i was very surprised at how wonderful they both were.  last will be my cousin(also a very close friend) hopefully within a couple of weeks.
