Hello Everyone! :)

I am new here and still a bit gun shy, so please excuse me if I seem reticent or don't go into much detail.

I'm sure like many, my sense of being "different" started very early. However, I grew up in a rigidly conservative, and also extremely abusive and dysfunctional household(big surprise! :p), and learned to keep my mouth shut and stay under the radar as much as possible. This habit paid off later when I went into the armed forces who were happy to exploit it of course. Anyway, I don't want to go into all that and would rather just ease in the best I can for now.
I've done a lot of traveling, my hobbies include writing, to include everything from poetry to flash fiction to song writing(which has made me a pretty good guitarist), and I'm on the athletic side with a good sense of humour and love to laugh and make other people laugh. I'm also a painter, including founding an art group that did quite well, and IT need :P And that feels like enough blabbering for now.Thanks for reading if you did and d I hope I can prove to be a good contributing member. :)
