Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hi I'm Jessica I'm in my mid thirties and I have suffered with gender crisis for as long as I can remember.  im In my mid thirties and I don't really have anyone in my life who understands me right now. 

As a little boy I always felt like I was in the wrong the body.  My closest friends were girls and I wasn't like the other boys.  I wished I could go back in time and change everything about.  I had a supportive friend who used to let me wear her clothes and she gave items I could wear so that people couldn't  see.

I come from a family that would not accept my choices as there is over emphasis on the statement "you are normal". I'd like to make friends and share experiences with people who have suffered and succeeded like me.

Hey Jessica!

You'll never know how people will react on your coming out and transition, it can be quite unpredictable. You can just assume their reaction. This forum knows stories about people that was against all this stuff but then became supportive and about people who shows support to lgbt just until it came to their home. So the only way to know is try to talk. Just be sure you're safe to do this.
You've already have great advantage with your supportive friend :)

And now you have entire forum with wide range of people - from those who've already completed this path to those who still haven't started yet. Feel free to read something or just throw your questions :) Welcome :)
