Hello all

My name is Jasmine and I'll have to first admit that I've been lurking around Susan's Place for awhile but finally joined the site.   I'm 47 and been CD'ing for the last 20 years and I have so much more to learn.  I just love all the positive vibes that surrounds this site and I can't wait to meet some new friends.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, it's really nice to be in a place where you can be yourself. Anita43, I love weimaraner's.  I have a 4 yr old Chocolate Lab named Lola and she used to play with a weimaraner while we lived in Portland.  They are beautiful dogs.

AS far as a place for being yourself... I've made massive strides in a very short amount of time towards achieving that in my real life... the remainder of the way will probably be quite awhile though, however, you never know I suppose. A month ago I had a goal to actually go "out" in a skirt. My goal was to do that on New Years Eve. Well, one day after dark I brought Jasmine outside, and I was to lazy to take off the skirt and change. It was such a great night, I just said... "f it, I'm going for a walk", and off Jasmine and I went. I was so happy and excited to be out walking my dog with my skirt and new faux leather/fur boots :) I even stopped and spoke with several people, and I only felt slightly nervous.... getting closer and closer to being completely myself :) I'm so glad that you have found a place wehre you can be  yourself Jasmine... well, you know, all of us can. It is an amazing thing after 4 decades, that feeling of freedom of being yourself. It seems so simple... my mind wanders easily and I write the same way lol sorry ....

Hi Jasmine.

  Welcome to Susan's.  I'm also a (quite closeted) cd, albeit somewhat more mature than you.  I'm happy that after a lurking for awhile, you've become comfortable enough to slip out of your closet while you're with us.  Good for you.  Its a fairly large emotional step. 

  So I'll look forward to seeing your responses on various issues and I'll try to notice when you start threads that I feel able to add to.  We're happy to have your company.
