So my doctor prescribed my testosterone cypionate starting increase to max subq weekly. She prescribed me originally 5/8 in needle but when I went to the pharmacist he redid my prescription and gave me 1inch and went over the medication as an intramuscular injection. I did a total of 3 shots as im thinking it was the right way. Well today I realized that I was supposed to be doing subq. Will this affect my transitioning in any kind of way?

Dear Razord
Well, first off, I am not a doctor, and more importantly, I am not your doctor.... but from what you said I don't believe that it is the end of the world as far as your medication.... BUT YOU REALLY SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR OR THE DOCTOR'S NURSE to ask first hand and relieve your anxiety.

T is marketed as only IM so that's why the pharmacist would say that. We in the trans community know it is widely accepted to take T via subq. Go with what your doctor said.
I do my shots subq and have had the same issue when new people are involved in my care.
