Title: Hello I’m Cody

I have been putting off introducing myself because I'm extraordinarily shy. Hard to believe since I work at a rather large nursing home in the backwoods of NY state. I usually just come here to observe and gain confidence from others postings, however I feel That it's fair I should tell you a little a little about the observer in the corner. I am 28 years old, shy obviously. I live with my stubborn German grandma who is 87 years old but very accepting of me. I love her so much. I work full time at a nursing home where people are somehow accepting of me (most of the time...). I love helping others it makes me feel really good. I try to stay out of other business most of the time simply to make things easier for them, I suppose I'm not very confident. I don't have very many friends to hang out with besides my grandma. I get lonely and feel depressed oftentimes but video games and this place seems to take my mind off the bad things.
Nice to meet you all

Hello again Cody:
It's me again, thank you for following the LINK to come here to the Introductions Forum that I provided for you in my Welcome Message on the first thread that you posted on August 29, 2018, about 2 months ago.
Now, with your introductions posting telling us more about yourself, more members here at Susan's Place and regulars on the Forums will be aware of your arrival... you can expect more sharing of thoughts and information that you can receive and also give as you make new acquaintances and friends here.
Again, Welcome to Susan's Place
Wishing you well,
Danielle

Hey Cody!
Nice to meet you too :)
I see you've already started few conversations. Hopefully your colleagues and residence soon will stop acting that way and you'll be fine again :)
What are your favorite games, btw? :)

Thank you all so much for the reply's. Sorry it took so long! I will definitely participate more in conversations. I did not mean to come across as moody or depressing in my post.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Favorite video games include final fantasy 7, super Mario 64 and more recently the elder scrolls online. I play every genre tho and can escape into most games especially the more modern ones like red dead revolver 2. Sometimes I play fort nite with my little cousin In Colorado, although I'm horrible at that game. Thanks for asking by the way! : )

Hi Cody! I love your grandma. She is giving you the support that you need so you know that you are OK, and so you can face anyone who doesn't like you, with your feet firmly on the ground. Yay! And you are likewise empowered to pass that love, care, and generosity to the nursing home residents. Wonderful!
I'm in the back woods of New York state, too. North of Syracuse.
I hope that you find a sense of community, friendship, and give-and-take in these forums as you look to expand your social circle. Lots of inspiration and wisdom shared here as people share their stories about what their lives are like. Lots of kind support as people explain their challenges.
