Title: Orchiectomy

I'm getting my insurance switched later this month. My case manager informs me with my new insurance my orchie will be completely covered and once i do it i don't need testosterone blockers any longer!
But there's one thing, or a few things. For one thing, once i get an orchie, that will most likely mean no more erections, no pleasure, etc. or will i still? I did want a testicle massage just for the experience. But then again i'd rather have a non-working, pleasuring vagina than a fully-functioning penis and tests.

I've heard the opposite. I learned that people can achieve an erection after the orchi. Some with viagra and others without. It is possible to still have a male orgasm with the penis completely limp.
Testicle massage. Meh. An oriental massage is better in my opinion. No testicles needed.
I hope that have an orchi in about a year.

There are risks of not being able to get an erection or have an orgasm with the orchiectomy. The only guarantee is that you will be sterile.

Hi Annaiyah,
Once you have the orchiectomy will you run on estrogen or androgen?

Presumably estrogen.

Sterile as in no longer being able to impregnate someone? Which i look forward to no longer being able to do?

I remember in my teens i've had a female physician check my testes. Years afterward, there are times i get turned on remembering it and would love to have a woman give me a massage before i have my orchie done just for sexual pleasure. But if that doesn't work out i guess there are other pleasurable massage spots.

Correct. If you are still able to attain an erection you may be able to penetrate and ejaculate, but there will be no sperm present in the ejaculate, hence no fertilization.

Absolutely. My orgasms produce much less fluid than before my orchiectomy, but it is still present and part of the sexual activity.

My urologist wants to ream out my prostate. That will also reduce volume significantly.

Do you have other issues? I haven't heard of prostate surgery being part of an orchi.

My experience was that being on androgen blockers (spiro and finasteride) with estrogen stopped all erections. The I added progesterone and erections became possible. Since getting them is kinda dysphoric to me I try not to but when kissing my spouse I still get partial ones. I can get fully erect but again since I tuck most of the time and don't get fully erect often it has become painful to do so. Makes penetrative intercourse not comfortable for me which usually leads to loss of full erection.
When I first started HRT I had to use panty liners for a while as my glands were releasing a lot of clear fluid. IDK why that happened but it decreased. Now I produce clear fluid when aroused but nothing extra to worry about when not so all good to me. Having a male type orgasm can still happen. With enough stimulation it can feel like it happens. It doesn't produce anything extra, just feel whatever muscles those are contract. However female orgasms are oh so much better anyway. Not quite as intense but longer lasting and can repeat. ;)
After my orchi I was able to stop all anti androgen medications. Now I just take estradiol and progesterone.

BPH, as I mentioned a couple of years ago. Nothing to do with an orchi, but certainly reduction in fluid volume.

I vote for you to get a lingam massage before losing anything. A very pleasurable experience that does not need to result in orgasm or ejaculation. Although with a skilled practicioner you may achieve either independantly.
I have had a number of orgasm/ejaculations with a flaccid penis, both from massage and from the use of enforced chastity devices. My wife can also make me ejaculate without orgasm by prostate massage.
