Options and choices are good!
Oregon also has the option to be an X relative to gender.
Although i am non binary the F still works better for me in this currently over simplified and still binary gendered world.

I don't know if I would select the third option. I do not find it to be anyone's business except for whom I choose to share it with.

I wish my state would jump on the bandwagon and offer an X. For me, it would mean no pressure, no expectations.
I updated all of my markers to stick it to the man, and I am currently so not passing.
I also like the notion of having a third option, because it's making something other than the binary slowly visible.
Even if, for social purposes, I'm living and passing "as male," I still have to move through the grey space between the binary to get there.
