This is a place to vent about things that you don't want people to respond to with possible solutions.

Sometimes situations are very complex and people throwing out solutions without having all the background can be frustrating and upsetting. Sometimes you just wanna be heard.

I'll start.

For the past five years of my transition (4 medical) I've made steady, if slow progress. I haven't felt any great need for GCS because my wife got used to how I look naked and the dangling participant has never made me particularly uncomfortable. Now that my marriage is basically in the toilet I'm feeling the need for a partner.

Unfortunately, I'm feeling really uncomfortable about the possible (public) blowback of not having the expected genitalia in a new relationship and I can't afford GCS.

(This isn't gonna work, but I gotta try!)

Big hug! Are you sure you don't want input? I'll respect your wishes if you don't. But sometimes when we look from the outside, we can see things not visible from the inside.  :)

Thank you, Devlyn. Eventually I probably will, but there's a lot of detail to take into account and I don't feel up to explaining the whole mess just yet.

To everyone, in case I wasn't clear, I created this thread with the intention that anyone can post stuff here that's troubling with the understanding that people won't try to fix it for you. Hug and comisseration are welcome.

Dee I hear you. Are you open to male and female partners. Because I found out the males like a dangling participant to play with.
