Hello Everyone
You may recall that in May and August I compiled previous tables on BT Results.
So once again I invite anyone that wishes to provide with their E and T Blood Test results after either 3/4 months or after 6/7 months or after 9/10 months, please do so on this thread please and I shall happily add you to the table(s). Please state whether you are providing International or US Units and I shall happily convert accordingly as the table provides both for comparison purposes.
I am doing this exercise in May, August and November 2018 and February 2019 just to see if there are any statistical trends we may see; I accept we may not see anything more than coincidence especially since I do not possess (and I do not wish to possess) details of dosage. Anyone may inform me but only if they wish of their medication name but not dosage of course. I do not wish any table to be regarded in any way as "League" or "Performance" table.
The current tables are as follows:

Veracious Valerie's BT results - 4 months
I have been o HRT for 4 months now.
1st month was just a low dose of E.
2nd month doubled my E.
3rd month started Spiro.
5th month. In a week I go back in to talk about my latest blood results. Here they are...
Day -10(Days before starting any meds) Aug 09th
Testosterone=392 ng/dL
Estradiol=17 pg/mL
Day 30 Sep 19th
Testosterone=201 ng/dL
Estradiol=58 pg/mL
Day 109 Dec 7th
Testosterone=48 ng/dL
Estradiol=145 pg/mL
I am 37. Turn 38 on International women day (March 8th) :)
We are very similar. That is nice to see.
Veracious Valerie has posted me her results which I shall shortly add to the 4 month table.

Hello again
I was just wondering if any of you dear girls would like to let me know their E and T Blood Test results please.
I invite anyone that wishes to provide with their E and T Blood Test results after either 3/4 months or after 6/7 months or after 9/10 months, please do so on this thread please and I shall happily add you to the table(s). Please state whether you are providing International or US Units and I shall happily convert accordingly as the table provides both for comparison purposes.
I know from experience that many of you have Blood Tests after 3/4 then 6/7 then 12/13 months thus omitting the 9/10 month period.
May I also take this opportunity of wishing those kind ladies. who have already contributed or who will contribute to this Comparison Exercise, a very happy Christmas. May you achieve all your transition goals.
Thanking you and Hugs to all

Hello Everyone
Joanna Jones CD has provided this very informative comment on her thread "Estrodiol and Bicalutamide" which I am copying to this thread. The numbers she refers to are US units:
"Thanks Pamela for your link. It is very interesting. The overall data gives us a definitive direction of the numbers when looking at the averages of all of the girls combined over time.
When taking Estrodiol orally and someone wants to have a clearer picture of their own data sets, from my research it does make a big difference when these tests are done in relation to the last dosage. I am hoping my own E numbers mimic the predictability charts. I am going to always have my tests done 3.5 hours after taking my dosage of E. That should then give me a 200 ng/dL. (Plus an unknown slight increase of E from the effects of bica added to the 200.) From what I understand, bica will also raise your E levels somewhat just by itself. The reason why I want my number to be around 200, is to make sure my doctor is happy with my goal. If I did the test after two hours, my E number would be around 400, and he would insist that I take less. If I waited to take the test 12 hours after my last dosage, he would probably start giving me to much of a dosage.
The larger difference of numbers between each girl I think is because of the time of last dosage. For instance, if you were to take 2 mg Estrodiol sublingual, 1 hour later you should have a E test reading around 800. If a test done 8 hours later in the day after last dosage, you could only expect 90-100 or so, 12 hours it could be 70 or lower. T levels too are determined at time of day. If you take the blood test early in the day vs in the afternoon, it would make a big difference since the production of T is at its highest first thing in the morning.
I think the key in a good data set, is just make sure your testing is done at the same time during the day for all tests. Therefore comparing the results from each blood test is more accurate in trying to achieving the direction of the numbers, as oppose the numbers themselves."
Thank you Joanna for this.
Hugs to all
Pamela

My last labs (US) after I quit taking an aromatace inhibitor (Which my Endo prescribed because I was complaining how I wasn't liking how I felt trying to "male up" with Testosterone)
Estrogen 130 pg/mL
Estrogen 130 pg/mL

Oops... Hit the wrong key. *Note all my labs are post orchiectomy. I never took spiro.
I don't have any post HRT labs yet. I only went "legit" with my Endo a fairly short time ago so the next ones will be the first to show how they look with just a tiny amount of Testosterone and the first where I'm using estrogel.
I don't have post HRT labs yet but here are my latest labs after I had stopped taking an Aromatase inhibitor which was squashing my estrogen levels. I was still taking male levels of testosterone. Estrogen 130 pg/mL Testosterone 596 ng/dL *Note I started feeling better when my E2 levels tripled and this was when I made up my mind to quit trying to "male up" and try dialing down the testosterone and start taking Estrogen.
My labs when I was taking an aromatase inhibitor and where I felt "wrong" Zero sex drive, binary emotions (Angry or nothing) but mostly depression were Estrogen 42 pg/mL (Normal male range 60-190?) Testosterone 620 ng/dL (Normal male range 250-1100?)
Somewhere I have labs after having Prostate cancer surgery where I wasn't allowed to take testosterone for a year and didn't have the guts to insist on estrogen therapy. This was probably the worst mix of all. Awful...

Hi Pamela, I just had my second blood test ever
I am post orchi and take micronized progesterone and estradiol with buccal absorption. In US units
T: <3
E: 1237 (this was less than 2 hours after taking my pill)
I haven't talked to my endo about progesterone and know next to nothing. Can you say anything about that as to why and how it works for you?

I don't have a date yet for my first post HRT labs but I'm happy to put out some numbers. I know dose info is not allowed but I do have to say I'm really curious about how they get the results they do. For example transdermal gels versus pills or injections.
Thanking you back for doing this and hugs to you as well.

I wish we could talk about dosage here. I honestly believe that the rule of not doing so, so that others won't be able to self medicate is being blind to reality. There is plenty of other sources on the web that do talk about dose that this is not a hindrance to those who choose to self medicate.

Yes, I guess I agree and truth is I guess the answers for doses etc really are everywhere so maybe this is one place to not have that so that people know self medicating is not a good idea. It was probably this rule that made me fess up to my doctor. Which while scary (Until I did it and found out I have the coolest doctor)

Hi all,
New to posting, but I guess this finally drew me out. I'm 43 and have been on EV injections only the last 3 months, and on a patch for 25 days before that. I switched due to skin irritation and because I prefer just having to remember an injection every other Sunday. No androgen blockers or others drugs for now, I wanted to see how E only went before adding in Spiro... as I had low E for a male starting out (around 150). Readings in US measurements exactly a week between injections:
3+ months:
E (418)
T (15)
My doctor and I are pretty happy with these results so far, so going to continue with E only to my 6 month mark.
Thanks for tracking this!
-Kate

Same here too. I am working with my doctor who has never treated anyone on a MTF HRT program. Since I am living in a small community, there are no other choices unless I wanted to drive 60 miles each way. I feel it it my job to try and inform my doctor of all of the dosage requirements based on my tests. This is a great forum, but lacks critical information. A well informed patient is a key component of ones proper care with their own doctor. This forum would be so much better if we could share all of our dosages. If however, this is not done because of liability issues with the owner of this website, then it is understandable.

I'm a member of another web forum that does talk about doses. In fact that's all they talk about is hormones, dosage and blood test results. There is a lot of info there.

As a moderator, I remove all sorts of dosage from the posts and some, under doctor supervision are well above the recommended levels. Others like mine are halve dosage with levels in the menopause levels but they still produce results. Finding the correct dosage is a balancing act between you and your endo and what works for you may not work for another.

I think the policy is to try to limit the number of people who self medicate (I was guilty of this) and on saying that I would add that its very liberating to had a doctor on board and see that your not screwing yourself up following amateur advice.
I think your doctor will be easily capable of adjusting meds to hit a proper range. Its also pretty easy to use labs that indicate normal male/female ranges. Some of the more variable things like doing estrogen without blockers might not be on your GPs radar but take my advice and bring in some print outs to ask your doctor about. Be prepared to learn everything on the Internet is not correct. :D

Self medicating without doctor overview is playing Russian roulette. Is that what you really want to do with your body? Most of us would say no. But excluding some information for all to see, is not the answer. I am new to HRT having just started 3 months ago. But I live in an area of the country that have doctors with very limited knowledge or none at all when it comes to MtF. In another 6-12 months, I will be moving to Las Vegas. It looks like there are a few doctors with more than enough expertise in this field that will be able to take over my care. Still though, I want as much information as possible with the risks/rewards associated with HRT. I know from other websites what other people are taking for dosage. Anyone that is self medicating can go to those same sites to get that info too. I just feel a complete full discussion might help the overall general group as a whole. I know that it will never happen here at this site, but just my opinion.
Each person needs are totally different from someone else. The proper dosage must be made by the doctor and patient, not from some website as an absolute figure. I love data points. The more that I have the better that I feel in making life long modifications to my body.

I don't know how to convert my US levels into international ones (can somebody post the formula for that, please?)
I was just tested, after 3 months on HRT. However, my doc feels that my T levels were very low for many years already.
T 74
E 63.8
I seem to be low on T and E. T might go away fully, once I had my orchi in a few weeks (days??, depending on scheduling).
I don't know how I can convince my endo to increase my estrogen, he does no want it to be more because of the danger of DVT! I might want to find an endo who is willing to take a little more risk with me! But there are not many endos around here in southern Florida, because of the old population they are not really needed!

Hi Pamela;
I am due to get my T, E and P tests done next week and I have my E & T results for the last couple of years. When i get the new results I will post up my results as well. Note I have been on E only for nearly 11 years and Promethium for just 1 year. I have never had T Blockers, mainly because my T was so low to start with.

Hello again Judith
Thank you very much for agreeing to post your E&T results next week including 2 years retrospection. I am most grateful for that.
I hope you don't mind me asking but on the "Periodlike Symptoms" thread you stated your T in nmol as expected for Australia (or UK) but you stated your E in pg/ml (US system) instead of the customary pmol. Did you do the conversion yourself from Intl to US as per "Unit Conversions" thread attached to replies to this thread on Feb 7th or is your E of 163 in fact in pmol please?
Thanking you
Hugs

Quote from: Kate.claire on January 21, 2019, 11:10:53 PMGreat to hear the results you got with E only. And just want to say wow you look amazing.
Hi all,
New to posting, but I guess this finally drew me out.
-Kate

My readings, taken about a month after my orchi, are:
T 5 ng/dl (relatively low for a natal female)
E 139.9 pg/ml (normal for a natal female in her ovulation phase)
I think the orchi did it's job to eliminate T in my system!

Hi Pamela,
My fourth month on HRT although the first three months were at an extremely low dosage to see how my body would react.
No negative effects, so, in March, my Doctor increased my dosage significantly.
I am providing blood work done in Jan (2 months on HRT)
Mid Jan Blood Work
Blood Work from prior to HRT start until Mid Jan Blood work
Estradiol - 27
Progesterone - 0.4
No Estrone sample taken
Testosterone - 277
April Blood Work ( 1 month on higher dosage)
Estrone = 99 pg/ml
Estradiol - 107
Progesterone - 1.10 ng/ml
Testosterone - 49 ng/dl
These are US stats
Thanks,
Bobbie
