Title: What's your most unexpected prior-op surprise?
Post by: MicheleAdams on November 28, 2018, 06:50:04 AM
Wondering what things changed that you never thought about before. Not the well documented variations in outcomes, but the things that are rarely, if ever documented.

For me,  I never dreamed that passing gas could go any direction besides back. I felt personally embarrassed the first many times it flowed forward. My cis wife says this is 'standard'.

I'm guessing that autocorrect bit you and you're not asking about "prior-op" (pre-op?) issues in the post-op subforum. Instead, I'm guessing you're talking about queefs...varts...fanny farts (UK)?  ;D By all accounts, they are indeed standard.

Hugs, Devlyn

Startle, minor tickle and since I was still healing, a bit of wondering  'is this a contamination risk?'

It feels different but is nothing to worry about.
