Title: 1 year hrt mark coming up.
Post by: Michelledeanna1989 on November 29, 2018, 03:21:02 AM
So my 1 year mark on hrt is January 7th
And I am begaining another journey I'm starting college
Excaly 1 year to the day. Prior to coming our at 28! I had
Very little drive or care to further my education. As it is now though.
It will be an amazing way to mark it. The college I'm going too
Is great.  I've already met with the campus pride Center. The have all gender washrooms.
And support groups at there other campus  that's wiith in 15 km.
I'll be upgrading my English. I'm currently 1 credit short of starting the program.
I want to take. I'm studying to be a healthcare assistant. I just think how by complete accident my 1 year on hrt mark and college will now be the same day.

@Michelledeanna1989
It is such a pleasure to read your wonderful update posting regarding your efforts to meet many of your life goals such as starting college, desiring to work in the healthcare field, upgrading your English, your possible plans to get involved at your college campus Pride Center and other support groups there, etc...

To top it all off, you are just a month away from celebrating your ONE YEAR HRT anniversary... that will be a date to write down in your personal journey and a date to celebrate every year.

Again, thank you for sharing your life endeavors and your plans with us.
It is so nice to read about your positive attitude about the direction that your life is going.

Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle

Thanks.

For changes I've noticed. For me I have a kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome
So I started then my doctor raised my doses in May and July. The drug I was in earlier in
The year caused higher potassium and since spirolactone also does the same.
I was taken off of one from December 2017 to say early March. My testosterone was in the low male range. It took me to the end of July to get into the female range. I also had Appendicitis and
My Appendix removes July 27th I was take. Of spirolactone for 3 days while I was in the hospital.
Since that point I've been on both estrogen and progesterone. I was lucky that I was fairly androgynous before.

im close to an A cup my body fat is moving to more feminine places
My skins dryier my libido is not as high as before. I'm a lot more cleaner
My confidence has shot up a ton. That people I've known for years are making comments
My kidney function is now normal and I can began. To  go off my kidney meds in January.
My face is rounding out but I still have issues. Mind you I never had a ton of facial hair thanks to
My German and Dutch roots. And I have had 8 laser Sessions  I think the biggest changes are my gender dysphoria is almost gone it does show up. Every so often but it's rare and when I get upset or cry now. I can hide it anymore but at the same time I used to hide my problems and feelings for ages and never really deal with it now. I get over whatever it is that I am feeling and it's  gone sometimes it lasts 15min other times it's a few hours it just depends.
Other things I've noticed is nipple growth and way more senstivitey. It's crazy how much has changed.
