In case you didn't hear the news, a ciswoman just gave birth to a child after a uterine transplant. I see no reason why transwomen couldn't have a transplant too and give birth.

Yes, I saw that on the news and thought the same thing!  It's only a matter of time...  ;D

I hope this is possible within the next ten years. I would love nothing more than to give birth to my very own child.

In ten years is too late for me. I am not sure if 50yo it would be advisable to have a child. :(

I think that it will take way longer than 10 years, unless you want to give birth via c-section.  But a uterus implant into a cis woman is a entirely different animal than the same implant in a biological man.  There is a lot of blood vessels to be created and rerouted, etc.  Somebody has to develop this technique, and somebody else has to fund it.  Who would do the funding?

Way too late for me too (44 now), but I would love to see other transwomen give birth within my lifetime.  ;D

It was tried last year and failed but it was not a total failure and led to excitement to the possibilities to come. The main problem is the bone structure of the pelvis and  being able to create a womb where there ain't no room.

My hips before transitioning where 41 inches but I still wouldn't be able to do this. It might simply be easier to transplant the brain.  :'(
