Title: What a year!
Post by: Margarine on December 14, 2018, 03:58:58 AM
Post by: Margarine on December 14, 2018, 03:58:58 AM
Hi all,
I have been a member before and deleted account for personal reasons...
It's been a roller coaster of a year from GCS back on 01/05/2018 to Stage 2 and BA on 12/03/2018 and a lot in the middle from a good friend leaving too soon by his own hand to being happy with who I am.
I will post when the mood strikes, I will answer any questions and will give and take advice.
Thanks for having me :)

Welcome back Margarine! Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. It does sound like you have had a very emotional year, and I hope you are now in a good place. You already know that many people depend on Susan's Place to find the missing pieces of their lives. People who have gone through the struggles others may face and who are willing to share their experiences are a priceless resource. Thanks for coming back.
Love always -- Jessica Rose

I have lurked and almost made a new account on many occasions. At those times I had nothing positive or constructive to post and did not want to mire others down in my self made and dealt to me crap. I know a lot do not have other resources and Susan's is a G_d send for them. I have been lucky to have a loving partner, a best friend who one day we might end up in jail together and a wonderful support team at Kaiser.
I have moved on to my next battle with the bean counters at Kaiser, this time it is getting them to pay for VFS. I know there is some FFS and possible travel from them. Kaiser in WA covers, GCS for both feminine and masculine, hair removal for GCS prep, facial hair removal and BA.
I just had BA and 800 cc's a side is a lot of extra! Some days it would be easier just to have them taped on ;) I love them and hugs are so AMAZING now.
Thank you again for the warm welcome!
it's 4am and I am trying to get caught up on work but here I am posting :/

Greetings and welcome! Nice to have new members. One question though. Why name yourself after a fake butter product xD? Just wondering

For the fake butter thing it's an inside joke with my best friend. She knows I loath margarine, my name is Margaret... she started calling me Margene, her daughter thought it was margarine... so it stuck. I was in a bit of an odd mood when I made the account, recovering from BA and stage 2 and had a pain killer on board. *shrug* it's all fun and games until you loose an eye, then it is just fun.

Hi Ashley! How did the VFS go? You were doing that before my life took a bit of a detour for the summer. I hope all is great :)
Take Care,
Margaret

Hi Margaret!!!
My VFS results are a bit of a mixed bag but, I am definitely putting them in the win column 😃👍...I traded good frequency without effort for some of my vocal power in noisey environments ... Things are still improving and settling even now, 6 months later,... I speak around a 220 to 230 hz average frequency which is very good but with a slight hoarse undertone that is still improving.. i comes out more when I have to overcome a lot of ambient noise and you don't hear it when I am speaking a normal quiet room conversation levels...I do feel more comfortable with my voice and I have no problem being heard without amplification now when I do public speaking in classrooms at the local university and other venues!...
Onward we go brave sister!!!
Ashley 🙋♀️💕🌸
