anyone have any tips on how you got over this type of rearing? my old man made me go to my first fight. also had me fight a kid with a,blade when i was 12. i was an alpha male and its hard to shake a dominant personality were i worry about being weak.

My parents started raising me like a dog around 7. I guess they knew something about me was different. Football, baseball, Scouts, teaching me how to fight, calling me a girl or pussy and etc..
They finally gave up and started spoiling me to make it up I guess..
Maybe try emerssing yourself in everything female. Movies, music, smell, and anything else possible. Dance to Madonna videos. Take ballet classes. Go for a run. Or do kick boxing with other women. You do not have to give up the things you did as a male.

At this point, just go for what makes you authentically happy and feel natural.
While I didn't get forced into the alpha-male like socialization by any means, there were many things that were heretical to a non-queer straight male that I'm slowing allowing myself to indulge in. Easier said than done, it's slowly coming with time
