Hey Ladies -
I am moving along.
Today was a BIG day, my friend Zelda took me to a Day Spa to get my eyebrows threaded! AMAZING!
I have also had my ears pierced, Zelda helped with that too!
I have also talked with my HR director at work, and she has said tell me when and we will change ALL your work names to Marcie (excepting payroll until I get a SS card). I have also scheduled a meeting with my Pastor off church property, just us to tell her what is up - I am United Methodist, so I know that the church has not supported any of us in ministry (only ministry - nothing else) but feel supported so far, we shall see!! I am also out to many more people, at work and friends and hoping to continue that a soon as possible! I know a LOT of people from many places, work, home, chirch, scouting...but truth is - I REALLY REALLY need to just be Marcie! :)
So ladies... WHAT IS UP WITH EACH OF YOU? What is your NEW THING? C'mon we all have those new things that keep us going on this path!!!
Love and many hugs to you all!
Marcie :)

But even more importantly: don't dwell too much on any bumps in the road.

Hi Marcie - So glad things are moving in the right direction. :)
I am also United Methodist and I want to point out that it is not just the Ministry that they recently voted against. It was also same sex marriage. Don't take my word for it - look into the official church position. This really broke my heart. I was very active in the church and although we are still welcome as members I do not choose to be a second class member of any organization.
But I am thrilled for you that life is progressing so that you can live as the real you !!!

She feels that the progressive US churches might split off, and form their own organisation. She is in California, and they out there still wonder, if they should follow the new path, or should continue to be progressive!

Hi, Marcie! I am happy that things are going well for you and that you are moving steadily forward in becoming the real you.
For me, not a lot is new. I am enjoying being accepted as myself pretty much everywhere. I am moving towards getting GRS maybe late this year or early next year, and I am hoping to be able to change my gender officially in a month or so.

absolutely, and that is a critical stance for so many from both sides, pastors who support same sex couples and marriage, and those seeking a home for their family who believe we are all God's children. Thanks for making that point. The ministry side is what is having the most potential impact to me directly! I pray and hope we can find a welcoming church home!

Kathy,
big steps indeed! I also am looking into changing my name, and gender marker, as well as having GCS! I am just seemingly floating along on a cloud of hope!
All the best to you and hoping all goes smoothly for you in your next big things.
Love and Hugs,
Marcie

Yes, that is possible, but the problem with that is pensions would be lost, and ownership of the church buildings is now with the UMC. Both seem to be a serious problem with a split!
I noticed you have an upcoming procedure! In 16 days? Wow - praying for you and the doctors!
Love and Hugs, Marcie

HEY LOVES!
The BIG things dont stop.... I dyed my hair - important because now the fine hair coming in from the Rogaine and Propecia are darker and fill in more - so less Toppik needed! Love to say that is available!!!
I did it myself too...my wife is accepting to a point right now but not really on board and unwilling to help with this - so instructions and some help from a friend via Messenger...well I think it is okay for now!
Lots of love...LET ME KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOU! I look forward to hearing all the things going on!!!
