Hey there,
My name is Chris (he/him) I have been watching from the shadows, but I'm now trying to be an actual part of the community.
I work low voltage while I study to become an electrician and then eventually an electrical engineer. I love all things nerdy and I cosplay.
So yeah, nice to be here with all of you.

Well hey Chris,
I just replied to your first post and told you that you could just hop on here and just say "hi" and people would respond. See I was right. lol
I'm a 50 year old MTF trans woman and have just started the path toward transition. I'm not out publicly yet...in fact the only place I'm out is right here in this forum. I have, however, recently started interviewing therapists so I can start the HRT process. So I guess I'm out to a couple of other people, although I've only spoken to them on the phone.
I was in the printing industry for most of my life, but physical ailments have put a stop to that. Now I'm a political writer for an online blog. You say you're into cosplay. I've never had the chance to that, but it sure does sound like fun. It allows you to be who you want to be, dress the way you want to dress, and even go out in public that way and it's widely accepted...excellent!!! You can't beat that!
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. It's nice having you here,
xoxo

What can I say, but "You Were Right!"
Yeah, I'm not out to anyone here. In fact, coming on here is the first time I've even admitted out loud *or in writing really* that I was trans. I wish you all the luck in finding the right therapist!
A political writer that sounds like a lot of responsibility. Very cool, and most need to have someone with your background to be a voice of types. Lord know we need it these days. Politics is crazy right now.
Thanks for welcoming me aboard. :)
