Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Is there a way to get the "Recent Topics" link back that was available in the older version of this forum? We now have the "Unread Posts" and "Unread Topics" links at the top, but sometimes I read a posting and later want to come back to it, but it now has disappeared due to its 'read' status.

I tried to do a search for posts from the last 0-1 days, but it requires a search text, i.e. I can't do an open-ended search.

You can mark as unread if you want to keep it for later. I thought there was a way to save a link but cannot see that now.

Having a recent option is good but so is the unread posts that is a huge advantage over the since last visited recent of the old forum as often they would all disappear just because I had to stop reading here and do something else

So both please...

My use case for 'Recent Posts' is this: I usually read posts through the 'Unread Posts' link. Occasionally a post resonates with me for a while and an hour later I'd like to post a reply. By then I have refreshed my screen and the post I wanted to reply to has disappeared (unless somebody else commented there and I haven't read that comment). So, to find the post I would need to remember the board it was posted on or go through the search feature. Both methods are cumbersome and a 'Recent Posts' link / shortcut would be really helpful.

I will echo these comments, and point out that 'Recent Posts' was a feature previously available before the crash, so it must be in the software...

Right now it is quite easy to find a post that you have read as long as
you made the decision to put it in your Bookmarks.

The previous Recent Topics tab in the pre-Crash Forum, along with numerous other
"nice features" that are on our to-do list are time consuming to recreate because when the
Forum crashed a lot of the software that we had updated piece-by-piece over the previous years was
corrupted and many times not usable and in many cases was gone. 

The staff is prioritizing our rebuilding tasks and there are many more pressing
jobs that need to be addressed right now.  Patience please.

Thank you for your patience as our staff is bringing features back to the Forum.
I am so glad that you noticed the  "Recent Topics" button...

Our staff is focused on bringing the Forum back to the way that it should be...
... little by little, piece by piece.

As a result of he New Year's site crash, we lost 4 years of small and also
important improvements and modifications as we fine-tuned the Forum 
making it more user-friendly with improved ease of navigation.

There is still much more for us to do... as time goes by you will be noticing
more (and sometime little things) coming back... as we are working on
bringing things back it does give our staff the opportunity to update and
improve some Forum features so perhaps they won't be exactly like they were.

Always keep you eye on the "Announcements" for current information.
