Title: There are nice differences, aren’t they?

It certainly is different conversation when with girlfriends than when with males!
I am sure many of us as MTFs can relate to that. I like it.
Rest assured we can be just as professional in a businesslike situations. I am talking about when we are with friends who are women and we are speaking freely and spontaneously.
It is easier to be more vulnerable and open with another woman that you can trust. Maybe I am speaking just for myself.
What do you think about what I said above? Can you relate?

I don't really see a difference. I have a lot of interesting conversations with all genders.
I know my wife was jealous of how quickly I could make a connection with young kids and teach them stuff. Some of it is physical ability in that I instinctively lowered myself to their height.
It also involves showing respect. A lot of folks don't really listen. If I don't get something I don't to fake it and make them try again.
Sometimes folks have stories they want to share but are afraid of being ridiculed unless they tell it to someone as equally crazy as they are!

Oh I can have interesting conversations with most people but I think conversation topics can put more emphasis on some matters, depending on whom I am with.

Men tend to dominate a conversation. Women are more likely to ask questions and read your nonverbal communication. Women are also more demonstrative.
I had a female friend over for brunch yesterday and there was lots of reaching out and hugging. Then I went to a couple's house in the evening and with that mixed gender dynamic, there was a lot of goofing and laughing. Another couple dropped by today and that dynamic was similar to the evening before, with teasing and laughing. I like it all. Where I live, men are quite tender toward women when it's just one man and one woman. Protective. That's nice too.

mmmm. I've seen this at work a few times. Men not only trying to dominate a conversation, two or three guys arguing back and forth trying to "win" a conversation. Once in a while the contentested win is about absolutely nothing or semantics. That is, guys arguing about nothing trying to win. I've shared eye rolls with cis-female friends at work when we see it. It just weirdly cringe-y for me seeing that much T bubbling over all at once.
Very much spot-on O&C.
