Hello Joey

My name is Sarah B and I would like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

Many members of Susan's have tried to deny their 'gender' feelings regardless of whether they are FTM like you, MTF and of course those that identify as non-binary.  Even though you have written a very short introduction.  You have made an effort and that is the most important thing that you can do.

The site works by listing various topics in various forums and all you have to do is create a new topic that you feel is relevant and post it.  Just like you have done here.  Otherwise you reply to someone's posting that they have made.

Just remember this is a public forum and anyone can read what you say.  So only mention stuff that you are willing to share with others.  There are places were one can have a private conversation, here at Susan's Place (PM) or on Susan's Discord channel.

I would suggest that you read various topics that you are interested in and maybe reply if you feel inclined.  This is how we "guys talk about everything".

There are some good videos on ftm 'transitions' on YouTube and the couple that I have seen are stunning to say the least, they may help you in some small way.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the Introductions Forum (https://www.susans.org/index.php/board,8.0.html), of course.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these as well.

Please review the links at the end of this message, especially the red links, they include information which will help you navigate the site and use the available features.  When you reach 15 posts, you will be able to send and reply to private messages and you will also be able to add an avatar to your profile, until then if you have any questions about the Susan's Place site and the Forums, please feel free to contact, the Forum Admin Danielle Northern Star Girl alaskandanielle@yahoo.com

Take care and all the best for the future.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Hello Joey!

Welcome to Susan's Place! We are happy to have you with us.

As Sarah B. pointed out, I think you will find that many of us started just like you. We might have similar experiences, but your path will be unique to you. You decide how you want to handle your feelings.

I would suggest finding a gender therapist. That is usually a good place to start. They can answer your questions and help guide you through any obstacles you encounter.

I look forward to seeing you around the Forum!

Lori Dee
