Title: A step forward
Post by: Alissshaa on August 08, 2024, 10:51:07 AM
Hi everyone
I hope everyone is doing well
I joined here in January this year and have not updated any progress on my part but today i am here share a small step which i have taken towards becoming the real me.

Recently I came out to my girlfriend that i am having gender dysphoria. I was scared at first but i gathered all my strength and told her. I am happy to say that she supports me in this endeavor and will like to help me any way possible. She loves me so much and told me that does not change the love between us.

Now both of us are looking forward to our beautiful life together and are excited for the transitioning process ahead.

I am really happy to have her by my side.

Yours Alisha

That is wonderful news!

I think she sees the real you and that is what she loves. It is a good thing that you risked it all and told her and she is accepting, understanding, and supportive. That is the definition of love. We are so happy for you. Her support will help you in so many ways as you navigate the obstacles ahead. Never take that for granted.

Thank you for sharing!

Hugs!

Honey this is one of the hardest things you will ever do. And I think we all probably know how you were feeling at the time. That you took this step is... really awesome. I am so proud of you. It is a massive leap of faith. That it worked out the way it did is the icing on the cake and I am so, so happy for both of you!

Remember this feeling, of doing what you did in spite of how scared you felt. Know that you can do it. And use it going forward, okay? Remember, courage isn't being unafraid... courage is being terrified but not letting it stop you.
