Title: Girls Trip
Post by: TracieCarolinaGirl on October 01, 2024, 01:35:58 PM
Is there such a thing as a Susan's Place girls get away weekend?  Do the members ever get together as part of a planned event.  Just wondering.

Welcome to Susan's Place! Occasionally members do meet up on their own, but I don't think we've ever had an official 'meet and greet'. Several years ago, one member went on a cross-country trip and met with at least a dozen different members as she travelled across the US. Since you already have over 15 posts, you can use the 'personal message' option below the post counter of any member to contact them directly. While we encourage members to meet and socialize, we caution members not to post their contact information or address anywhere on the forums.

Love always -- Jessica Rose

Members have met at conferences, like Keystone.. or own their own during travel. I've been lucky to meet a few members IRL, although not at a conference or at a big meet up.

There is also a transgender conference for a week this month (October 20-27, 2024) in Provincetown, MA.  It is called TransWeek, formerly billed as Fantasia Fair.  You can find it easily with a Web search.

I agree with Jess.  Do not post contact information or address anywhere on the forums.

Also, there are some trolls, pervs, and weirdos in the bad sense, in communities all over the world.  Be extremely careful.

However there are many sensible and nice people too.

Be safe.
