I want to express my words of support to all who have faced and will face the hurricanes. I'm stunned by the heroism of the people who refused to leave and will face hurricane Milton face-to-face. I will pray. This storm is going to be very scary. My heart with them.

Same here, my prayers are with them too. I understand why some stay, I'd be one of those that would have considered the surge zone possibility stayed.

Yes indeed, prayers were and are needed.
The worst of the storms are now over, now the big job is clean up....
... and the long, hard, and expensive task of recovery.
There were 2 members of my church here in Alaska that traveled to Florida
as volunteers with Samaritan's Purse to help the affected people
and their families with transportation, food, water, and clean up.

There is also a group of volunteer pilots. Military, veterans, and civilian pilots who are flying supplies into areas where FEMA has not been able to get to. I forgot the long name of the organization, but their nickname is Redneck Air Force.
