It's been a while since I ventured to Susans site. A quick recap of myself. I am a Eurasian had my surgeries 10 years ago in Thailand and now live here permanently. I have immersed myself into their culture and speak read and write thai, always believed you need to show respect in the society you reside.
I'm a celebrity in Asia and have been featured in various magazines and had a documentary about my journey by Vice. I'm an advocate and not an activist.
I'm at peace here and firmly believe you need to win respect and the hearts of the people by good deeds. Legally changing any laws to give us rights, when a large portion of society, does not accept us, will only face confrontation and unhappiness.
I keep reading about the issue in the USA and feel sad. I must say that based on my beliefs, I see both sides have goid points and bad. Maybe it's because as a Eurasian with Asian beliefs we accept thar it takes time to change people's attitudes, and I see Americans wants this change quickly, without winning society acceptance. In Thailand it's taken us 50 years to win society support and by January next year, we will have same sex marriages, and finally female ID cards, with full support from society.
I don't know the solution in the USA, I'm not aware of the many issue you face, but maybe consider how Thailand has succeeded.
I will be writing more about life here and how we each accept ourselves as who we are
I thank the Administration team for solving my problems logging on again.

I tend to agree with you, Warlockmaker. Society needs time to adjust and then we have the bathroom laws, trans children, sports... To much to quick always creates a pushback. Not that these are not valid, just people need time to understand and adjust.

Welcome back sister! It's good to see you again and I am glad you are well!
I very much agree... We don't gain acceptance in the hearts of others by legal decree... We gain it through our good deeds...
Onward We Go Brave Sister!

It is great news. Any social change is gradual, not revolutionary. It has been the same for me during the past 20 years.
I am also featured in an independent film here in S. Korea. It will be shown in some international film festivals this year, and in S. Korea next year. I maintain my YouTube blog: https://www.youtube.com/@barbiekorea21
